The English Rose Tea Room has been serving Afternoon Tea in Carefree for over 10 years. Try a scone with jam and cream or our much acclaimed 'Duchess of Bedford's Formal Afternoon Tea'. Better yet, sample one of our delicious salads or our homemade cottage pies. We import our cream from Devon and serve only the finest teas, with over 25 varieties to chose from on our menu.Open 7 days a week throughout the year, we look forward to seeing you! This is the best tea place that I have been too. It's elegant like you are going to meet the Queen of England. The vegetarian quiche was amazing. The Valentine's day chocolate tea was to die for. And I am so ready for my next visit. DONOT forget that if you want to go, make a reservation 2 weeks in advance. âœ¨ðŸŒ¼ðŸ‘‘

This is one of the greatest places I have ever been! It is a smaller location but you never feel crowded. The service here is a delight and the food is extremely pleasing. We had the duchess afternoon tea and beans on toast. Both selections are very appetizing. The cheese selection is extraordinary and I definitely recommend the Soho and Paris.

2-3 comfortable, but depends on appetite and how much each person wants to eat.

We don't have a dress code, but people do tend to dress up for tea, and we have a trunk of hats for you to borrow :-)

An AMAZING selection of tea. Plus many beautiful gifts.

We are currently open, while observing all health dept protocols and have implemented social distancing to give our guests more space. We await further intructions from the Governor.
